Hockey Manitoba COVID-19 (coronavirus) Important Information

Following Hockey Canada's decision to cancel all Hockey Canada-sanctioned activities due to concerns over COVID-19, Hockey Manitoba has canceled all sanctioned games and programs effective Friday, March 13, 2020.  All games that are in effect this evening (Thursday, March 12) can be played until completion in line with Hockey Canada's decision. Below is the message from Hockey Canada.

"After much consultation with the Hockey Canada membership, our chief medical officer and public health officials, the Hockey Canada Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel all Hockey Canada-sanctioned activities, including our national championships, until further notice, effective Friday, March 13, 2020.

We were able to play our game between the Polar Ice and Western Predators on March 12, 2020.  The series had to become the best of 3, rather than the best of 5.  The Western Predators defeated the Polar Ice, thus taking the series 2 wins to 1.  The season is now over, and the Western Predators have been declared Provincial Champions for the 2019-2020 Season.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us this year.
